Dr. Sonu is an alumna of Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra and Punjabi University, Patiala. She is Associate Professor in the Department of Economics at Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur and possesses more than 20 years of teaching experience. She has more than fifty research papers published in reputed journals and one reference book in her credit. Besides, she contributed around seventy papers in various national/internal conferences and has delivered more than forty talks as invited speaker in various academic events organized at university and national level. She has supervised three Ph.D and six M.Phil research scholars in discipline of Economics. Her broad area of expertise is Quantitative Economics and Labour Economics.
